Why I Love Mexico - Gavin Manerowski

Gavin Manerowski recently visited a very beautiful city called Mexico. Mexico comes under North America. It is known as the oldest city on the American continent. This is very true to say that the Mexico is a perfect base to explore Latin America.  It is a very famous place for all types of visitors.

Gavin enjoyed being in different places of Mexico and enjoyed everything there. He appreciates the awesome Mexican food, amazing and inspired art, handicrafts etc. He was impressed by the Mexican people; they were very much civilized and hospitable. Mexico is an adventurous place also where life is lived largely in the open air. He noticed that the people there were very charming and positive who knows how to entertain and please the guests. 

Mexico has a rich culture that is famous for wonderful handicrafts. Friendly people and awesome weather of Mexico makes it a year – round destination. There was a time when Mexico was the most visited countries in the world. It was declared by the World Tourism Organization. Gavin had a great time there he visited the top class museum and galleries over there. 

Best Places to visit in Mexico –

·        Guanajuato – This is the largest city of Mexico. Gavin enjoyed the combination of modern and traditional culture over there. This is actually known as the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila. Various plazas and modern convenience make this city pleasant to visit.

·        Zihuatanejo – This place is extremely beautiful. It combines amazing beaches. Easy lifestyle and very friendly people. Gavin feels so relaxed there, It seems like a paradise. It is a great tourist attraction.

·      Cozumel – This is a beautiful island that is very famous for its two things. One of them is the coral reefs and another one is cruise ships. Gavin Manerowski finds it a perfect place to learn about Mayan culture. He felt relaxed on the beach with his favorite book.

·      Oxaca – This place is best known for its different cultures. This city is basically centered around a traditional town. Gavin finds natural peace there as this place was completely surrounded by nature.

·      San Miguel de Allende – It is a very beautiful city. Gavin enjoyed fireworks and local parades over there. The climate there was very normal; it is normally cool in winters and warm in summers.

Food to enjoy in Mexico–

Gavin Manerowski is a food lover and Mexico is a place of attraction for food lovers. Mexican food is famous for its best tastes and flavors. Mexico is a city of hot and spicy food. Here is a list of delicious dishes that Gavin enjoyed a lot in Mexico. He suggests everyone to get the real taste of these at least once.

-         Tacos al pastor – This is a historic dish. It includes very thin strips of pork and then it is placed on a corn tortilla. It is being garnished with onions, coriander leaves and pineapple.

-         Tostadas – It actually means toasted. This dish involving corn tortillas fried in boiling oil until they become crunchy and golden. Its toppings include beans, cheese, seafood and cooked meat.

-         Guacamole – This is a very popular dish of Mexico. It is basically a side dish and also known as traditional sauce. It is made up of onions, tomatoes, lemon juice and chilly and eaten with tortilla chips.

-         Tamales – This was Gavin’s one of favorite dishes. It is a type of stuff dish that is being wrapped in banana leaves. Fillings vary from meats and cheeses to fruits, vegetables, chilies and mole.

-         Chilaquiles – It is a very popular traditional breakfast dish. Its toppings include green or red salsa, chicken or fried eggs.

Gavin Manerowski says that to be honest, Mexico was one of my favorite places during that trip. There was something very special about this city. This place was very unique and interesting. He met with some really cool Mexican people and got new friends over there as people were very friendly there. Gavin considers it as a place where we would love to visit again and again. He says that I would recommend Mexico City to everyone. It is a place that you will never forget.
