The major cities of Rajasthan that grabs the most of the attention of visitors from all over the world are - 

  1. Jaipur:  Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. This place is also known as the ‘Pink City of India’ due to saffron or pink color of the buildings. This color actually gives the traditional touch to the city and makes it different from the other cities. It is the largest city of Rajasthan. Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Dera Amer Elephant Safari and Amber Fort are the places which got attention from a lot of visitors. Gavin Manerowski found that the city is mostly famous for its artwork and Jewellery. He was amazed by the creativity in art and craft work.
  2. Udaipur - Udaipur termed as ‘Venice of the East’. Udaipur is known as the city of lakes which has a lovely atmosphere. This place is very famous for its palaces also. Kumbhalgarh Fort, Lake Pichola, City Palace and Monsoon Palace are the places of attraction. City palace is on the bank of the Pichola Lake which is the main attraction of whole Rajasthan. It’s a beautiful view to the lake makes it a popular tourist place in Rajasthan. The water effect makes it more beautiful and attractive. Gavin Manerowski actually found it the most amazing place in the Rajasthan.
  3. Jodhpur – Jodhpur is the second largest and most populated cities of the Rajasthan, formerly also known as the Sun City. This place is known as the Sun City because it enjoys a bright sunny weather all year round. Some most attractive places of Jodhpur are as follows –
- Mehrangarh Fort,
- Jaswant Thada,
- Balsamand Lake and Kailana Lake,
- Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park,
- Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and Mandore Gardens.

Gavin had a great experience there. Each place was just amazing in its own way.

  1. Jaisalmer: This is a very old city of Rajasthan. It has its own historical buildings that attract most of the visitors. Famous places to visit in Jaisalmer are as follows –
- Jaisalmer Fort,
- Bada Bagh,
- Patwon-Ki-Haveli,
- Gadisar Lake and Desert Nation Park

These places are the main attractions of Jaisalmer. The unique feature about the city of Jaisalmer is its architecture. It is built as a walled city which makes it one of the largest forts in the world.

  1. Mount Abu: Mount Abu is situated in the Aravali mountain range. Mount Abu is known as the only hill station in the Rajasthan. This place is very famous for Dilwara Jain Temples, Wildlife Sanctuary, Nakki Lake. Gavin found the night view on the Nakki Lake really beautiful. It was quite calm and peaceful. According to him the blue lights really add a pleasant view of the same lake in the night. He loved the mesmerizing view of water reflecting the lights.
According to Gavin Manerowski, Rajasthan is really an amazing and lovely for people who love the historical buildings and forts. He had a great experience over there and would love to go there again and again. Gavin also appreciates the traditional food of Rajasthan. He enjoyed the traditional colorful dresses and dance with local people there. Gavin Manerowski finds people there very friendly and polite. It’s true that every city has its own tradition and culture. Rajasthan is known for some historical background which makes it really unique and memorable.
